NetBeez is the digital experience monitoring platform for network engineers that enables quick troubleshooting of issues with ISP outages, SaaS, Wi-Fi, and home networks. Earlier, O0 created a new brand and website for NetBeez, highlighting its game-changing capabilities. Now, they’ve returned to us for the product redesign.

UI analysis

Taking on this project meant diving into complex technical challenge. We started by identifying the key components: agents (remote users) and targets (the products they manage). Mapping their interactions helped us define two essential user flows. The first, passive monitoring, allows users to keep an eye on overall system health. The second, active monitoring, enables them to respond swiftly to issues like slow internet or app glitches.

Since quick navigation is crucial, we restructured the troubleshooting logic to make it more intuitive and seamless.

Logic behind

Some use cases involved overly complicated processes, and certain features were hidden, making it hard to maintain a stable flow. To address this, we developed a system with vertical navigation, offering a clear view of the investigation context.

Now, network engineers can define alert conditions, review event timelines, examine logs, and track issues from start to finish — no more bouncing between windows and pop-ups. Everything is seamlessly integrated into a single screen.

Widgets

Operational tasks are critical, and every dashboard must promptly address issues by offering real-time insights into test and alert statuses. To ensure this, we identified essential high-level data for each entity and integrated filtering features into widgets, allowing users to access vital information with just one click, without the need for extensive navigation.

Charts and reports

One of the key user needs is the ability to report network performance to their managers. With this in mind, we reorganized the dashboard, enabling users to compare various histograms containing both real-time and historical data, providing valuable insights into performance trends and anomalies.

Design systems

Data is both the glue and the challenge of this product, so our task was to structure troubleshooting sessions and components to offer more natural and intuitive interactions. By establishing key guidelines, we laid the foundation for future development and the next phase of business growth.
