Project Head for Spend With Ukraine
What it's like
The Project Head will be responsible for leading Spend With Ukraine through its next phase of growth and impact. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for promoting Ukraine’s economic resilience and a track record of scaling digital platforms.
You will oversee all aspects of the organization's operations, partnerships, fundraising, marketing, and team development. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-impact initiative with a powerful mission.
What’s the job
- Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for Spend With Ukraine, ensuring it aligns with the project mission and values. Identify growth opportunities, set clear objectives, and create plans to scale the platform's reach and impact.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain efficient and effective platform performance. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and develop relationships with NGOs, corporations, government agencies, and community organizations. Build long-term partnerships and collaborate on joint programs, initiatives, and funding opportunities that support the organization's mission and objectives.
- Create a sustainable financial model for Spend With Ukraine, incorporating revenue generation, grants, and donor funding. Lead fundraising efforts, securing financial support from donors, investors, and other funding sources.
- Act as the public face of Spend With Ukraine, representing the initiative at events, in the media, and in discussions with founders. Communicate the organization’s mission and vision to a broad audience.
- Grow the platform’s network of featured brands, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of Ukrainian products and services is available to consumers.
What you’ll need
- 2+ years of experience in senior project management positions or a senior leadership role
- A systematic, highly organized approach
- Diplomatic and empathetic leadership
- Strategic thinking
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent English
- Deep understanding of and commitment to Ukraine's culture, economy, and social challenges
Would be a plus
- Experience in securing funding from a variety of sources, such as grants, donors, and investors
- Experience with scaling a digital platform or marketplace
